Wednesday Meeting

on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month

Wednesday meetings are similar to the Sunday services, but the selections are chosen to illustrate a community or world need. You’ll also hear fellow attendees share insights, experiences, and healings they’ve had as a result of their prayer and study of Christian Science. Only available on Zoom; contact for details.

Reading Room

Mondays & Fridays

Similar to a library or bookstore, a Reading Room offers a place to read, pray, and get inspired. It’s a space where many have been healed by studying the lessons of the Bible and nurturing a connection with God. It is also a shop, and it offers free research facilities.

Closed on public holidays. Contact if you have any queries.

God's-eye view of you!

By Fujiko T. Signs, CSB. Member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship

Saturday, 10 June 2023 at 2.30pm

Around the world people are looking to prayer for solutions, safety, and well-being. The talk will focus on universal healing precepts found in the Holy Bible, especially in Christ Jesus’ life and teachings, showing how they are available for anyone to understand and experience through the lens of Christian Science. The talk is free and open to the community.

‘We will explore the relationship between prayer and healing and the universal divine truth that unites us,’ says Fujiko.  ‘We will talk about the practical understanding of God as ever-present love so we can make progress, unafraid like trusting children.’

Fujiko Signs has been a Christian Science practitioner for many years, helping people on a daily basis through this scientific approach to prayer. Based in Tokyo, Japan, she speaks to audiences around the world as a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship.

The Christian Science Pastor

It’s common for people to look to a pastor when they need guidance, comfort, healing, or a deeper sense of purpose. The Christian Science Pastor is available to offer this kind of nurturing and mentoring around the clock. That’s because the worldwide Church of Christ, Scientist has just one universal, permanent Pastor.

As the universal Pastor for the Church of Christ, Scientist, the Bible and Science and Health embrace church congregations with a message of Christian love, preach the Word with clarity, minister to those needing care in every place and circumstance, and prove their worth through healing transformation.

Who was

Mary Baker Eddy

Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910) was a spiritual pioneer. Her work covered the disciplines of science, theology, and medicine.

She studied the Bible her whole life. In 1866, she experienced a dramatic recovery from a life-threatening accident after reading one of Jesus’ healings. From that moment, she wanted to know how she had been healed. She read the Bible and prayed for answers. It became clear to her that spiritual healing was based on divine laws of God, Spirit. She proved that these laws could be applied by anyone to heal every form of human suffering and sin.
